Great show but I can’t listen when Dionte is on horrible radio voice
It’s obvious that everyone puts effort into this show, but limit your dosing because it dampens the joy of the game. Kapadia and Princiotti seem to genuinely love the variability and narratives of an NFL season, but it’s unclear why the Wet Blanket Brothers (Ruiz and Lee) bother watching games. If a season-long outcome fails to match their priors, they struggle to to adjust and are surprisingly dogmatic when drawing inference from film and football statistics (which are notoriously poor in their... more
Steven Ruiz is impressively bad at this. I’d rather not let the “one” bring down the “many”, but that’s just how bad he is to even make that a possibility.
Unfortunately the incredible talent of Sheil has been wasted with a hack like Steven Ruiz. Don’t waste your time with this guy. Terrible evaluation that he refuses to ever budge on. It’s fine to have your opinions and stick by them but Ruiz takes it to another level that makes him unlistenable and unlikeable. His QB evaluations remain the worst across sports media and yet he acts like everyone else is an idiot. After years of tuning in and out of this pod I have to say this is its worst iteratio... more
This podcast genuinely sucks. I’m not sure the hosts even watch the games they are reporting on. They rattle off stats but have very little to offer when it comes to football insight. To make things worse, they are incredibly unfunny people that laugh unapologetically at their own bad jokes. Go elsewhere for content.
