I can’t believe you had Wos on the show. This is a serious NBA podcast for people who really understand and can comment intelligently on the game and he just doesn’t belong.
It was especially hard to hear him praising the 76ers when he appeared not that long ago on the Lowe Post and said the Sixers had the bleakest outlook of any team in the east, specifically worse than the Wizards and Nets.
The man just has bad takes and doesn’t know what he’s talking about most of the time.
Zach used to be one of best analysts in all of sports! Completely objective and on the money with a lot of analysis. Now, he’s always wrong and has horrible guests. What’s the point of listening to this nerd if he’s always wrong and a hypocrite when it comes to NBA awards. NBA media has never been worse than it is right now.
Love the show and actively did not enjoy the NBA as much without the Lowe Post! I do have a suggestion. Would love some coordination on topics with Bill’s pod. I know Bill is going to over index to Boston (to be expected), but it’s kind of annoying when Zach kicks off the pod with Boston too. Makes me just want to skip The Ringer pods when that happens.
No deep analysis anymore, just breathless overreactions to whatever happened in the past couple of weeks. Can be entertaining sometimes, but sadly Zach is now an access merchant rather than a serious analyst. Major respect for how much he has contributed to my NBA knowledge, but most of that’s in the past and I skip most episodes.
All the subtle Knick hate that comes thru every episode makes sense now.
