It hurts to give three stars to the best talking head in sports. I love Zach, but I hope someone hears this feedback. When he was with ESPN, Zach’s podcast was the best. Cerebral, clever, and divorced from big market bias. He had synergy with guests, and outstanding game and player analysis. Most of that continues to be the case.
However..
Can we please lose the F word? I hate ESPN, but they apparently get credit for having kept the podcast clean. Listening to the Lowe Post together was somet... more
I was a long time listener of the Lowe Post when Zac was at ESPN. I’m happy that he’s back and doesn’t have as many restraints. But I don’t appreciate the frequent cursing. It’s distracting and unnecessary.
And it’s not close. Zach Lowe is fantastic. Breaks down the game, talks about every team & knows his stuff. Glad to have him back.
Pure Micheal Jordan of basketball podcasts. We are so back.
Zach, Bill and Goldsberry reunited! Couldn’t be better.
Love this show. Great fun. Zach really knows his stuff and is funny and it’s a great time. Only complaint is that it’s sponsored by a gambling company taking advantage of people with addictions. Kinda messed up. Outside that it’s solid
I can’t believe The Ringer landed this asset! 2nd best get of the season after the Doncic trade. Congrats Bill! Welcome to the Team, Zach!
So glad to have entertaining, informed, and respectful discussions about basketball back! Basically the antithesis of what ESPN has become.
So good to have Zach and his insights back in the NBA podverse. Today when asked why he didn’t choose a punny name for the new podcast, he said his father joked about naming him Hal, as in “Hal Lowe.” Zach then ends the discussion dismissing such puns as “low hanging fruit.” Which is actually a great name for the podcast.
Every player the Celtics have on their roster is better offensively than Jaden McDanials, show me that math Zach.
At last! And just in time for the playoffs. Phew!!
When I heard Zach was back I was so excited that every 5 seconds I checked for a new pod
Zach is the best media analyst for the NBA, save for possibly his boss Bill Simmons. Unlike Simmons though, Zach is so easy to like. He is knowledgeable, humble and completely avoids the attention grabbing “hot takes” so many analysts use to get attention. This would be the best NBA podcast ever if it could’ve used its original name.
Zach Lowe is awesome. Deep relationships across the league. Knows his stats and his hoops. Such a pleasure to listen to. Welcome back Zach!
Lowe’s energy and passion for the game is palpable, and he’s a great interviewer. His knowledge and understanding with the ability to articulate educated opinions is very important for basketball.
