I'm not sure why so many others feel certain aspects of this podcast are insufferable. Bontemps is opinionated + they do talk over each other at times and don't always agree but that's all expected, fair, & fun when you have 3 guys making commentary about the NBA ... ? People are being too sensitive & nit-picky, in my opinion - it's a great podcast with solid breakdowns! My fav NBA podcast.
Hands down, the best NBA pod. Vet reporters, plugged in, great story tellers. Each season is a fun journey, with the call backs, jokes, Windy Wisdom, grumpiness. TV has Inside the NBA. Pod world has our triple threat trio.
So sad that Jade Hoye's art and community of characters got replaced by Windhorst and Bontemps petulantly bickering every episode
Please give us a podcast with less Bontemps. I get he has his place but I skip every episode he is on
Windhorst needs a better supporting cast. One guy has a southern accent that makes me think I’m listening to The Dukes of Hazard. The other guy talks through his nose. Put some former players on who understand the game.

This show focuses on breaking down NBA action with a veteran ESPN-insider team that blends on-court analysis, strategic breakdown, and banter. Episodes skew heavily toward playoff narratives, young stars, front-office moves, and how teams adjust from game to game, often weaving in behind-the-scenes context and occasional travel or production chatter. A standout is the mix of deep tactical insight and personal chemistry among hosts, which helps listeners follow complex series and player developments while staying entertained. The format tends to feature a steady rotation of longtime reporters and industry insiders, making it likely to appeal to hardcore basketball fans who want both depth and personality in a single discussion.
