It was enjoyable until someone was using way too many ‘like’ in a sentence :(
I love all the shows the ringer produces from prestige tv podcast to the ringer verse to rewatchables to the ringer nba, but I have to say guys, Off Guard is so rough. It is not it. It’s gotta go. Big fan of all other shows though for real, keep it up!
Not the worst basketball podcast but definitely below average. NBA is the bud light of sports because of all of the off court stupidity. Please stick to basketball on the court. Keeps getting dumber.
I listen to hear what Raja and a few others have to say. Any episode with Wos is tiring to listen to. He sounds like he hates basketball. Why does he complain about every topic? If he dislikes everything so much he should go do a different job.
Justin verrier consistently holds back Wos and Mahoney on group chat. Directs conversations in the wrong direction. Has a poor understanding of players and their values. Wastes time on topics and headlines that aren’t legitimate or worthy of deep discussion. Wos and Mahoney have fantastic insight and perspective and should be highlighted by a more capable basketball mind. They deserve better.
