I’ve loved this show and have always enjoyed Verno, but this random ad interruptions have gotten out of hand. I’m finding myself wanting to listen less and less because of the constant mid-sentence ad interruptions.
The podcast is great as always. But now that the Tuesday and Friday games are bigger and more worthy of watching because of the improved TV lineup, the episodes on those days really need to get rolled out earlier.
It’s pretty uncomfortable to hear CV be so defensive and avoidant about what’s been happening with the Grizz and Ja in particular. It’s affecting the quality and viability of the show, tbh.
This show is truly on its last leg with me as a listener. I just listened to today’s pod (11/25) and I couldn’t wait to hear what Verno has to say about Ja and Klay’s back and forth and wow was I disappointed. That defense was nothing but pathetic and Jacoby (who earlier in the season would actually go at Verno about his Ja stance) just sat idly by and said nothing of value or actually checked him about anything he was saying. It’s like they talked beforehand and Verno asked him to take it easy ... more
Verno and Jacoby have been rocking it with the season a few weeks in. I love the little stories they find and/or generate themselves, e.g. Target Guy and Jokic’s brother. Hilarious. Also love them highlighting the underdog dudes that are kicking a*s.
