I’ve found myself listening to this podcast a whole lot less since Jacoby joined. I used to love it and now I can’t finish an episode without getting annoyed. I actually enjoy Verno, but Jacoby never really adds any worthwhile insight and something about him rubs me the wrong way. Thought about leaving a more scathing review of him but decided to just leave it at that. Would love to see the Ringer shake this up and give Verno a better partner. Also, whoever produces the show needs to figure o... more
Jacoby really sounded better in WCF wrap up show. He has the capability to cool it down. Good job.
I’ve stuck it out over the season because they’ve had good structure, funny takes, and Verno is a one of a kind character. Jacoby was wearing me out, but I now have hope.
The spurs should have more free throws. The 3 guards and Wemby attack the rack. OKC is a team of jump shooters. They are afraid of Wemby.
I’m really getting tired of Jacoby. Too much interrupting. Verno is the reason I’m still listening.
I’ve stuck it out over the season because they’ve had good structure, funny takes, and Verno is a one of a kind character. But it’s wearing thin.
Why these guys are incapable of appreciating the talent that is Wemby. I understand they are trying to provide something different than the “consensus” when it comes to analysis.. but jesus christ they look like idiots when they can’t seem to appreciate what Victor does on both ends of the floor
