  • Really informative

I love waking up every day and listening to a new podcast. I listen to this every day to start my day and it’s really relaxing. It also improves your bone knowledge by a lot and I would recommend it if you’re either just a new basketball player or experienced one or you just like listening to it. The video podcast also are positive since it helps me kind of have a greater understanding of what they’re saying. Would highly recommend I think it’s the best basketball podcast.

  • It’s ok

The Thunder homerism is unbearable. They don’t even try and pretend to be objective.

CJ Miles on the Evolution of the NBA
Q: You feel like you would fit in to the league today? And if so, how do you see yourself fitting in?
Miles suggests he would fit due to shooting ability, but emphasizes that he would need to grow within the modern system and continue to adapt to space, pace, and decision-making requirements.
Where do the Hawks rank in the East?
Q: What do you think is the next thing the Hawks need to do to reach the next level?
The panel suggests focusing on Onyeka's development while ensuring the veteran wings step up offensively, so the team can move from a solid playoff squad to a deeper postseason threat. They also note roster shuffling may be needed to optimize minutes and fit.
The NBA Discourse Problem | Morning Shoot Around
Q: What would make the discourse healthier or more constructive?
Fewer ref-centric debates and more emphasis on actual gameplay, strategy, and player development, as well as highlighting storytelling around teams and players rather than endless controversy.
The NBA Discourse Problem | Morning Shoot Around
Q: Why does NBA discourse feel so saturated compared to other sports?
Because media outlets optimize for clicks and engagement; controversy and hot takes drive more views, which in turn fuels a cycle where discourse becomes the story outside the actual basketball.
Thunder Spurs Game 7 Preview + Knicks are in the FINALS | Slam N Jam
Q: What makes Chet Holmgren an interesting basketball subject to you?
Holmgren stands out for his intellectual approach, defensive instincts, and potential to redefine positionless play, which came through in the film-session interview and continued in on-court performance; the discussion highlighted his self-awareness and ability to process teammates' needs while staying aggressive.
