  • Excellent Canes podcast

Adam is an automatic listen after every Canes game for me. His hockey knowledge (and knowledge of the team) is excellent. I also appreciate that he never gets too high or low in his assessments - he tries to shoot people straight. If you’re a Canes fan and not regularly listening, you’re missing out.

  • Great show.

I like that you love the team and have connections but also not afraid to criticize the team either. Might not agree with everything you say but definitely agree with most of them. Keep up the great work.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Canes, Bussi hold off Devils' late push, win 3-1
Q: Do you think the Hurricanes would use Bradley Nadeau in a deal for a number two center and a goalie?
It's far more likely that Bradley Nadeau is used in a trade than Nadeau ever plays as a regular for the Hurricanes.
Can the Canes win the cup with their current goaltending?
Q: Do the Hurricanes have good enough goaltending to win the Stanley Cup?
Yes, they do, especially if Frederik Andersen stays healthy and plays at the level he has shown.
The Rod Brind'Amour Interview
Q: Does the Hall of Fame matter to you?
Brind'Amour states it matters to others but acknowledges he never thought about it growing up; it's more about thanking those who've helped him along the way.
The Rod Brind'Amour Interview
Q: What are your thoughts about Seth moving to the middle?
Brind'Amour believes moving Seth to the middle would be foolish since he is already performing well in his current role.
Canes bounce back with 4-1 win over the Canadiens
Q: Who would you start in goal for the first game in the playoffs?
I think Anderson will get the start in game one, considering his recent form compared to Kachetkov.
