As an Oregon State fan, thanks for the fond memories of the 2006 and 2007 CWS Championship Series. You were spot on with the turning point of the first one being the first baseman putting his glove foot on the bag and limiting his range.
Though Jacoby Ellsbury was only on the 2005 Omaha team that went 2 and BBQ. The 2007 group was best remembered by the relay from John Wallace to Darwin Barney to Mitch Canham to hose your guy at the plate. #GoBeavs and #GoHeels this weekend.
