  • Not the same

I never thought the day would come where I preferred BS over Russillo, but something’s not the same since the split with him. It just doesn’t feel like authentic Ryen anymore, feels more like typical media talk. Whereas BS somehow is starting to feel just the opposite. I don’t get it, and maybe others will agree. But I had to unsubscribe; dude just doesn’t feel authentic anymore, and I never thought that would happen.

  • Nose Dive

Classic case of asking someone to “tell us how you really feel!” and immediately regretting it. Its been a steady decline for a year or two. Ego got a little too much oxygen. Also have to say… these three dudes are the last people on earth I would take life advice from. Not one of them

would recognize well-adjusted at a party. The fact they do a life advice segment at all is peak parody. Threw in an extra star bc he had good basketball convos w Simmons for a

    stretch.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

LeBron Out, Kessler In for the Lakers w/ Jorge Sedano. Kawhi Back to Toronto. Plus Danny McBride!
Q: How does the Lakers' Kessler acquisition change the team's window and draft strategy?
The hosts discuss the trade as a aggressive bet on a young center who can anchor the defense and space the floor for Luca, while acknowledging the long-term draft asset implications and the risk of over-committing to a single strategic path.
LeBron Out, Kessler In for the Lakers w/ Jorge Sedano. Kawhi Back to Toronto. Plus Danny McBride!
Q: What do you think went into LeBron's decision to move on from the Lakers?
Sedano explains that the move was driven by a combination of championship contention and a sense of partnership with the organization, suggesting LeBron sought a place where the balance of power and creative control allowed him to chase titles rather than simply accept a maximum contract.
Spurs–Thunder Now a Best-of-3, Knicks Rolling But… Plus Draft Intel & All-NBA Snubs w/ Sam Vecenie
Q: Sam, what stood out most to you about the Spurs' approach tonight and how they defended OKC?
San Antonio did a fantastic job applying high-intensity pressure, especially on Shea, mixing coverage with smart sub-patterns to keep Wembenyama involved and force OKC into difficult offensive decisions. The adjustments in the first quarter, and the way they collapsed on drives while keeping shooters honest, limited OKC's scoring and allowed Wembenyama to influence the game on both ends.
An All-Time Collapse at The Garden, Plus Mike Tirico on the Wemby Experience
Q: Your thoughts on game one last night in New York?
Tirico explains that the game exposed both teams' coaching decisions and highlighted the Knicks' ability to capitalize late, while also noting Harden's complicated playoff role and how defensive schemes shifted to counter him. He emphasizes the strategic complexity of playoff basketball and the idea that one or two possessions can redefine a series.
The Pistons’ Big Problem, Warriors Exec Revisits Drafting Steph & Finding Another Star, Plus Rockets GM Rafael Stone
Q: Were you confident Steph would be there at seven, or did you think he'd be drafted by someone else?
There was real hope he'd be there, but there was also a belief that Minnesota or New York or another team could pull him away; in the end, the organization stayed focused on him as the top target and didn't waver when noise swirled.
