Love having this podcast to listen to and look forward to it! The topics discussed have all been super interesting and the guests on the show always bring extra excitement and new perspectives. Love having something sport dog related to listen to and “talk dogs” with.
Extremely good thought provoking and interesting show. Can’t say enough good things about it.
Great insight from two ladies at different points in their dog sport careers. Definitely worth a listen for anyone that’s looking to get involved in schutzhund or another club sport.
The content could be good, but the host's monotonous voice ruins it. And it reeks of self righteousness and privilege, which comes across in her Instagram account as well.
This review was originally drafted in March, and alas the pandemic happened, but my thoughts remain the same -
Although this podcast is no longer actively producing episodes, there was a ton of potential and interesting topics covered (even the few that weren’t entirely focused on dogs). You do need a little bit of Dog Instagram culture knowledge to reference to, but most content was accessible even if you are relatively new to dog ownership, as Laney takes time to make sure information is put ... more
I love this podcast. I’ve been binge listening for about two weeks. I’m always learning things and arguing with the host/and or guests in the show. It’s sometimes very opinionated and you’ll never agree with everything you hear. But, I’ll definitely make you think deeply about the topics and cause you to do some research. You’ll meet more awesome people on IG also.
If you love dogs and wish the very best for dogs, then you’ll enjoy this podcast. Give it a listen.
I love this! I listen to it every day, wether I am running, biking, or just sitting around the house! I love how educational it is and that they are so in depth, yet not invading to much into the persons life! Laney is so talented when it comes to podcasts!
Thanks for exposing the industry that tortures animals for the entertainment of tubby tourists
I’ve just started listening to this podcast and I’m in love with it! It’s educational and opinionated but in the best way. I’ve loved all of the episodes I’ve listened to! Being on Instagram it’s given me a chance to get to know more about certain people who I follow. It gives me a small glimpse into their lives and their dogs! Some of the talks are controversial but I love it. People are so opinionated and make assumptions without understanding why and how. I think Laney does a good job of prov... more
Sweet for Certain is no ordinary podcast: each episode is extremely thought out and researched, guests are picked with intention, & the length of the podcast shows that Laney does have A LOT to say! It’s very interesting to here so many different perspectives from those in the dog community, as well as some interesting life guests Laney has on!
As a hostess, Laney does a great job of stating her opinions & backing them up with well thought out/ researched evidence. But she also LOVES to play d... more
I really appreciate Laney & her candidness in all of her podcast episodes! Keep up the great work!
I really love Sweet for Certain. Laney is very smart and insightful and really does her research to put forward thoughtful opinions on the subjects. I wish it was a little shorter, as I like to listen all in one sitting so I have to wait for long drives to listen to Sweet for Certain, but Laney also has good reasons for keeping it long that I totally respect. All in all, a very interesting and informative podcast!

Love this podcast as it has expanded my knowledge and opinions on certain topics as well as helping me get into the dog sporting world! Thanks for making this amazing podcast!!
I love listening to this podcast, Laney is a wonderful host and she asks the right questions that allow her guests to shine. I’ve learned so much about pet insurance, off-leash dogs, reactivity, etc. Laney does a great job of offering a platform for discussion and growth and this podcast has been a great asset to the dog community
I LOVE hearing Laney speak about dogs, the community, and even the non dog related things. She makes each episode unique and picks awesome guests. My favorites have been Maddie of @biteydogs and Janelle of @makeupandmalinois. Getting to know these people that I get to see so much of on social media is a really cool experience and I love learning about people’s history and their opinions. Definitely give a listen, a great podcast!🖤
