It’s a shame that each interview is full of interruption and Sue brings the interview back to her own experiences. 70% of the content is brilliant, the guests are very interesting when allowed to speak.
Please please please do more of these podcasts… I bloody loves ‘em 🙂
Sue has a great way with her. She meets all her guests, genuinely, in the mental space that they are in. I love all the wandering parts to the conversations. Great explorations with people and names we are familiar with and some less so. I hope there will be more seasons.
It’s a real shame but I was really looking forward to listening to and learning from Emma Thompson. However she was so frequently interrupted by the interviewer. To the point that it became a genuine annoyance and spoiled the interview for me. I understand sharing similarities and your own point of view, but hardly letting the subject get her point across is simply rude and frustrating as the listener.
I adore Sue and love this podcast. She comes across as genuine and makes conversations interesting with a flare of humor. Loved the Mary Berry episode.
