This is one of the most soothing podcasts I listen to, love the informal chats, the bells ringing and the birds chirping .. I’m going to go back & watch them now
Every pod should pause to identify bird sounds. Calming AND silly.
I often listen to Tom’s podcasts when I’m working and he always makes me chuckle .Lovely guests. Podcast us like a big warm hug.
I love this podcast and the last episode with Alan Carr had me laughing out loud throughout. They work so well together I hope someone gives them a tv show!!
I like Tom very much and I've enjoyed most of these podcasts, mostly other lovely people chatting with him. It only gets annoying when there is lots of hysterical schoolgirl giggling over something silly (as with Lou Beckett for one although there have been others).

A warm, intimate chat format set in a garden where the host guides conversations with a rotating roster of celebrities, authors, and public figures. Episodes typically blend personal stories, career reflections, and light-hearted banter with practical garden tips, interwoven with sponsor segments and occasional charitable partnerships. The tone is relaxed and friendly, often feeling like a conversation among friends over tea in a sunny outdoor space. Noteworthy are the frequent crossovers between entertainment, parenting, books, and media careers, plus a steady emphasis on accessibility, humor, and a shared love of plants and home life that can appeal to a broad, lifestyle-focused audience.
