Easy to follow conversations about topics that are too unspoken off (e.g. pregnancy, depression, equality, loss, etc). I’d highly recommend listening to the podcast if you’d like to focus on normalising mental health conversations.
One of my favourite mental health podcasts. Vera is a lovely host and her guests' stories never fail to move and inspire me. I particularly loved the episode from S01 with Daniel McManus. It was deeply comforting and helpful when I was struggling with my own burnout. Thanks for the stories, Vera!
As a podcast listener, I am happy to discover the State of Mind with Vera podcast! It creates a safe place to tackle about mental health and other pressing personal matters that are considered as taboo. It is both healing and relaxing as you can get inspiration from different heartening stories of people who surpassed life's difficulties as well as stories of success and passion. I like how it moved me to be a better person especially on finding purpose and listening to inner voice.
Wonderful inspiring stories, told in a light way to normalise topics we should be more comfortable with.
This is a very unique podcast in which Vera doesn't avoid the difficult questions. She respectfully learns about the stories of her guests. If you want to learn more about vulnerability and learning from life experiences, I'd definitely recommend having a listen!
