《但愿人长久》的故事从1997年开始，来自湖南的子圆和子缺两姐妹随父母搬到香港生活，身为新移民的她们，在不同身份与归属种流动，还要面对一位常年吸毒的父亲。祝紫嫣导演也凭借本片，获得了2024年香港电影金像奖“新晋导演”的提名。
