Senseless is an incredibly thoughtful true crime podcast. Shanetelle did an excellent job interviewing me about my mother’s cold case. She approached the conversation with care, patience, and genuine empathy, and she made me feel comfortable enough to open up about something very painful. Her questions were respectful and well prepared, and it never felt exploitative. I highly recommend tuning in and supporting her work.
This show doesn’t just retell cases it makes you feel the weight of them. The episodes are well put together and always leave me thinking long after they end. A refreshing take on true crime storytelling.
Compelling stories delivered with deep care and compassion for the victims and righteous outrage at perpetrators, people who enable them and the society that generates senseless violence.
Amazing. The research, delivery, storytelling - everything is top-notch. Shanetelle B. does an amazing job by telling the stories of these mostly less known victims. You also get to hear 911 calls, body cam videos and news clips about the cases.
