I stumbled upon this podcast and loved season one. The story telling was great and engaging. Season 2 felt slightly repetitive in the episodes, but brought attention to elderly that I’ve never thought about. I’m in season 3 and enjoy the story, but feel the recaps are unnecessary after each episode, so I tend to skip those. Looking forward to binging the additional seasons.
Missy isn’t discussed enough! Thank you!
The journalism is fantastic! I wish there was more resolve than learning tons of details about crimes, but we’re not told that it’s a cold case from the beginning.
I SERIOUSLY CANNOT anymore with the IMMEDIATE tone change when “psychics” or metaphysical things come up in a case. There are a million and one FRAUDS out there, I understand that. However, there are TRUE, HONEST TO GOODNESS PSYCHICS, MEDIUMS, EMPATHS who can truly help in situations like this. And when this situation comes up, real MEDIUMS won’t take your money. Clairvoyance IS real, as is Spirit using your body to communicate. That’s why they call us MEDIUMS. We are the conduit between the Spi... more
Carol is a real problem here. She can't resist using superlatives and hyperbole in even the most random stories. Stories rarely need that but her exasperation and overreactions to facts (some of which are proven non existent facts, ie, untruths, later on) is really distracting and annoying. It seems this podcast is like cable news and click bait. You just titillate and rage as a means of storytelling. You don't need to think and feel, Carol does it for you.
