  • Positivity gets results

Well ive had chance to listen to the available podcasts today and for me the thing that stands out is the unique style Matt has when interviewing. He gets the absolute best out of all his guests. He handles sensitive topics that so many would not go anywhere near, and he handles them with respect, dignity and such empathy that its obvious his guests feel he creates a safe space for them to speak freely. I applaud him. Well done for such a pioneering podcast. Keep going it is great to hear.

  • Great show with Jennifer L. Scott!

I’ve been following The Daily Connoisseur for years, and it is one of the only YouTube channels I don’t miss a video! And that’s what brought me to this podcast. I really enjoyed the interview and hearing more of her back story before her writing and YouTube success! I also love the positivity mindset, and I look forward to more of your podcast!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

280 - Regina Martin - "They're all BULLSHITTING!"
Q: For people listening right now, if you could give some general tips that are tangible, what would you share?
Regina emphasizes practical web design tactics: prioritize a clear call to action, keep pages concise, make pricing visible, and ensure accessibility; she also stresses building a human-centered brand—your own voice, not a generic corporate tone.
275 - "People Were Freaking Out" With Stacey Hylen.
Q: What is the hidden profits framework and how does it help a business grow without extra marketing spend?
Hidden Profits focuses on maximizing revenue from existing activities by optimizing products, cross-selling, and adjusting the sales message to align with client needs, resulting in significant gains without necessarily increasing marketing spend.
275 - "People Were Freaking Out" With Stacey Hylen.
Q: How do you approach pricing and knowing when to raise prices and by how much?
Pricing should be anchored in your expertise and the value delivered, not trends; start with your current clients, increase for new clients gradually, and ensure you can demonstrate a measurable ROI to justify the raise.
275 - "People Were Freaking Out" With Stacey Hylen.
Q: What are the fundamentals that distinguish someone really good at sales from someone terrible at it?
The fundamentals involve genuine service to the client, pricing your value based on their needs, and avoiding a pushy approach; it's about solving a real problem and ensuring the client is the right fit so you minimize churn and maximize long-term value.
278 - Scott Thomas - "I Had To Become Somebody Else"
Q: What is some of the best life advice you ever received and why?
Denzel Washington's clip about doing something you've never done to achieve something you've never had stuck with me. It reminded me that breakthroughs come when you step out of comfort and take action, which aligned with my shift toward authenticity and pioneering a new path rather than chasing old metrics.
