I've been listening for a couple years, but I had to stop recently. I enjoy hearing others opinions about the books but these days the host Chris does absolutely nothing but complain. I agree with his opinions most of the time but he comes off as such a baby it's unbearable. There is very little analyzing the content of the books anymore, and I get it, a lot of the books lately have been bad, but when you complain about how stupid they are the entire podcast there is no reason for me to listen ... more

It’s fun to read the books and then listen, and when the old hosts return for special episodes, it’s tremendously enjoyable. Other reviewers have commented on how annoying Chris from Calgary is. He’s tolerable, but it does get old hearing about what the writers SHOULD have written. He’s at his best when discussing the best books Valiant is putting out.
