The story is very interesting however the host sounds like AI at tortoise speed and the interviews are far too long. Could have easily been condensed making for a much more dynamic and compelling story. Ended up listening to it at 1.25x speed which made it far more palatable.
Also, let’s get back to using “women” as the plural of “woman”. It’s getting petty and regressive.
Lots of facts that even those of us who've been following the Hollywood overdose case in the news hadn't heard before, and the professional guests were very informative. However, the interviews with the victims' family members needed editing, especially where they broke down with grief: lingering on that felt like emotional pornography and I had to fast forward. The subject matter is very interesting but there was little attempt to edit anything down. Long winded answers that just spun in place repeating the same thing that was said before. The audio quality of some of the interviews was very difficult to understand and a completely incoherent 911 call played for over 6 minutes with zero information. Should have been a 4 part series.
The host’s delivery is stilted and at times garbled. Also, the mispronunciation of common words is very distracting.
Impossible to listen to. Just terrible.
