Very good podcast!!! Hard to stop listening.
Question though… when Shannon was telling her full story after reading the evidence against her, she stated that after the shooting with Jermeir, she went home and got dressed for work. Right there was the sign ( to me) that she was lying since the maintenance man described her uniform was already on her.
This was not talked about or addressed. Would love to know why or thoughts on this.
Just an awesome podcast. Very sad for both families.... more

I went into this podcast with so much hope—it started strong, kept me hooked, and had me waiting for that big twist or deeper revelation. But in the end, it just went absolutely nowhere. There was no payoff, no substance, nothing that justified stretching the story into a six-part series. At its core, it was simply about a deeply unstable woman who killed her lover’s fiancée—something that could have been told in a single, tightly-produced episode.

Josh has the best sayings that he ties into each story. I love him!
Engaging and well produced. Great story with good twists. And, I’ll listen to anything with Josh Mankiewicz!
Easy listening doing yard work. I enjoyed the story from both sides, but it was not clear if Shannon even knew how to fire a gun. Why didn’t her defense go into this more? Was she was so skilled she could take out the victim in one shot? I think the police officer was more knowledgeable in shooting a firearm and being able to finish in one precise shot.
