  • Too opinionated no research

Listening to first ep of Idaho murders and the ‘author’ they interview has far too many personal opinions he’s spewing as fact. I thought this would be an in depth look from investigators etc not some hack trying to get money from an awful crime and saying some very problematic things.

  • It’s the Daily Mail

As you’d expect from this outlet, it’s a load of bollox narrated by a young woman who clearly needs the cash and is probably a “journalist“ in the same way as someone writing for their school paper.

  • Miss

Important subject and victims first hand evidence but delivered at 0.5mph with narration that has random emphasis. Sounds like a 4 year old at a Nativity Play. Please produce a succinct and skillfully read version. When you read aloud you must know the sentence meanings before so you put correct character and emphasis into the reading. Agonising to listen to.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

From Ted Bundy to Elliot Rogers... Is Bryan Kohberger a classic serial killer?
Q: Is it satisfactory to say, we don't know, let's move on?
It depends on who is asking; families might need closure, but professionals need to understand motives to prevent future offenses.
From Ted Bundy to Elliot Rogers... Is Bryan Kohberger a classic serial killer?
Q: What impact do you think that would have on Kohberger?
It may not affect him, given his automaton-like behavior, as he might be reliving what he did instead of feeling remorse.
The Master Manipulator - The Fentanyl Murders
Q: What rules did your mum have to follow under the guidance of Dr. Andrea Boden?
Ellie reveals that the rules included limitations on family interactions, restrictions on stress, and constant walking, all enforced under the guise of helping her mother's health.
The Master Manipulator - The Fentanyl Murders
Q: Tell me about how your dad was reacting to all this, because he must have felt pretty powerless.
Ellie explains that her dad felt completely helpless as he watched her mother, Carol, deteriorate, turning into a full-time carer while working full-time, causing him immense distress and exhaustion.
The Master Manipulator - The Fentanyl Murders
Q: Can you just tell us a little bit more about the story we're gonna hear about over the next three episodes?
Katie describes how the case is a tragic story about the brutal murder of Carol and Stephen Baxter, revealing Luke D'Witt's manipulation and control over their lives while simultaneously highlighting Ellie Baxter’s perspective as the daughter impacted by the crime.
