I was almost put off by the length of the seres but honestly I could have enjoyed more episodes! Jake and Corinne have an amazing chemistry and just bounce off one another. Jake is so funny and Corinne is a great storyteller and ask all of the questions I want to ask! Super interesting as a story (obviously!) but they way it’s told is so engaging and enjoyable. 10/10 no notes!
This is one of the most well done podcasts I’ve listened to in a while. The story is shocking and such sensitive material and Corrine excels and interviewing and Jake (the interviewee) is a refreshing, honest, insightful, and vulnerable example of humanity.
I have listened to hundreds of podcasts and this one is a standout. Incredible story of a resilient guy beating the death sentence he was given.
The real story that would never have been told if it wasn’t for a blink and ALOT OF HARD WORK!
And Jake, don’t worry about the one star rating someone has given you, it just makes this podcast and your story even more visible and available for people!!
Not only was the story amazing in its own right, Corinne was a fantastic host, commentator, and creator. This series was very hard to put down. I usually only listen during work, but I couldn’t stop listening! You went from work, to the grocery store, and then to making dinner with me!
