I applaud Jake's bravery in sharing his story, every time he elaborated more I just thought "it can't get any worse" and then it did.
Literally one of the greatest podcasts I’ve ever listened to
Wasted 5 & a half episodes listening to this garbage under the guise that his wife somehow caused his illness. No. This guy is a narcissist drug addict who happened to survive, whose wife actually did everything possible to help him survive. Most of his family were also drug addicts. If they’d have been honest and promoted this podcast as one about a man overcoming “locked in syndrome” that would be fine. They clearly tried to engage true crime fans by making his ex wife sound like a villain. To... more
You’re telling me she never whispered anything in his ear?! You sold the whole podcast on a lie. This was the most drawn out podcast I’ve ever sat through. His wife sucks but you’re painting her like she tried to kill him without evidence. Waste of time. I added an extra star because Jake really is awesome. I would give more if he had just told his story without the good for nothing host
What a great journey to hear about. And to know you’re still trucking on and making the best of what’s happened is so inspiring. Got a lot of anxiety hearing about the unjust and horrible things she put you thru. Be strong and carry on is definitely the motto for you
