Cobain had attempted suicide only a few months earlier, recall that he was even asked about this in an interview. His family believes it to have been suicide to this very day. I remember this well, I lived in Seattle in 1993-95. I wish people including investigators would allow him to rest in peace.

The podcast is overly dramatised, particularly the use of voice actors to convey words and text messages and inserting presumably the journalists own take on the intonation into the voices, it actually feels like it discredits some of these victims. The lack of chronological order or reporting on what’s actually happening in the trial as it happens is annoying, jumping back and forth between witnesses on different days.
