One sided and lack of facts
I hope the probe into the service of Ben Roberts-Smith VC shows he’s innocent of allegations of wrongdoing and possibly murder.
It seems to me from across the Pacific Ocean in the USA, that Mr. Roberts-Smith is being targeted by those who are filled with envy and might typically be of an anti-Western, post-Colonialist leanings. Please stop it, governments everywhere! Leave our veterans of the past quarter century alone. They didn’t cause the problems in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Gaza e... more
Pathetic, cheesy, over dramatised, one sided.
I’m just wondering how much Kerry Stokes & Gina paid for the BRS episode? It’s usually an ‘okay’ pod, however this episode is ridiculous. You conveniently leave out the fact that he threatened & harassed witnesses in the civil case. The fact that his accusers are also ‘war hero’s’ (be it without the medals). You also leave out the fact that Australia is obligated to hold up the Geneva Convention. Once a combatant is restrained (captured) and in the power of the Australian Defence Force (ADF), th... more
I unsubscribed after listening to the latest episode. The coverage of the Ben Roberts-Smith arrest and charges was completely biased in his favour. Downplaying the crimes and the prior civil trial finding of substantial truth. The bias was demonstrated by the host stating ‘these charges seem ridiculous’. This show prioritizes the process of justice: from evidence and procedures to witness testimony and strategic legal moves, often weaving in on-the-ground reporting and recreations to illuminate complex cases.
