This was a really insightful concept at first. The cases were interesting and the detail around court proceedings & processes was so well presented. You could tell there was a lot of care taken to present information in a balanced way. The Kumanjayi Walker series is a serious departure from this. The bias and focus is so cringeworthy it’s hard to listen to. May aswell change the show name to ‘one-eyed social justice warriors’
I have loved this podcast during the Erin Patterson trial and the following cases. That is, until I started listening the Kumunjai Walker episodes. There is blatant bias with the reporting/recording of this matter. Painting Walker as a hard done by member of the community is in stark contrast to his actual criminal offending and dismisses the role of police.
