Expertly researched, fabulous stories, great guests, if your a WW2 buff this is not to be missed
Jane and James produce the most insightful discussions and debates around Bomber Command, from a strong position of academic authority. They consistently attract charismatic and knowledgeable guests who add great value to the whole topic. If you’re interested in this important, yet controversial RAF Command, either as a researcher or student or as the relative of a veteran, I cannot recommend this podcast highly enough. It’s an essential complementary addition to the vast literary body of knowle... more
Jane and James keeps the excellent content coming, again and again. The podcasts come across so well, letting guests explain their passions with adding and guiding along the way. They cover the lighter and darker sides of the subject, some episodes are emotional roller coasters! Thank you for developing the seasons and going from strength to strength. Top Work 😃👍
I'm thoroughly enjoying this podcast. Listening in from the Gold Coast in Australia and with a long held passion for all things Bomber Command, I am learning a great deal more with each episode. Thanks for making these informative and interesting episodes , that also capture the human element to these stories . Cheers. Don
Really superb. Given the subject, you’d expect a lot of things, and they’re all present: planes, strategies, people, battles. But where this one really excels is in personal connection. I get a much greater sense of connection to those who fought all those years ago from this podcast than I do from others, even though the others may also be excellent. Highly recommended.
