  • Great Educators!

I knew very little about WW1 and the events that transpired during 1914-1918. Most of the Podcasts I have listened to were very stale and the speakers weren't the best, but then I found these guys! I appreciated the way they coherently keep to the topic, their manner of speaking, the humor etc... I recommend for anyone who wants to learn about WW1 in a way that doesn't have you "Falling asleep"! Great Podcast

  • The one podcast I never feel is a waste of time

I’m easily irritated by hearing people talk (and talk) - not the best audience for a conversation-based podcast. These gents are somehow an exception- it’s not only that I find the material interesting but the hosts keep the discussion on point and professional and have interesting quotes and sources. Some of the points are repeated but that’s relatively bearable.

  • Good from the very start

Well researched, organized and polished from episode 1. Some new podcasts take their time to find their footing or, oddly, have poor audio quality in the first episodes until they sort out the kinks. Not these guys — professional and prepared from episode 1. You can find such a variety here, from quests down obscure rabbit holes to broad overviews of major battles and campaigns. Thank you, Dan and Spencer, for your hard work and bringing these topics to new audiences.
