This podcast suffers from wanting every sentence to be theatrical. If a short word would work and be clear they skip it in favor of the word of the day flowery language. The story could be shorter and more easily understood if they just wrote the way normal people speak. WWII has plenty of drama without you trying to use super dramatic language, clarity over creativity. It ok the guy sounds a little autistic but other than that not to bad.
I’m sure these guys are enthusiastic about what they do, but in the one episode I listened to they picked three meaningless phrases and repeated them over and over again “determination was in their eyes” , “their resolve was strengthened”, “aftermath echoed all over the world”.
