Great series I’ve been enjoying for years.Angus is very knowledgeable.
My father was a captain at 21 in the 80th infantry. After the third time wounded in combat, then repaired, he was transferred to Paris to become the head MP! Age 21? Wow! I’m sure I have brothers and sisters all over the world.
One of the most interesting historical podcasts there is. As a Brit living in Germany, it’s helped me better understand my ‘home’ and the culture. I’ve learned so much as WW2 pod has vividly brought to life many parts of the area where I live. Thoroughly recommend. Angus makes my commute fly by on the
autobahn!
Content is good, but it’s SO dry, and the host ramble on and don’t give enough actual info
So glad I found this podcast. My uncle was killed in May 1945 at Pyanbwe fighting with the Kings Own Scottish Borderers. Thankyou for your informative pod. I have learned so much. Looking forward to listening for a long time
