There are useful tips to be gleaned for the first time buyer, but disappointingly Phil does little to interrogate the faults of the industry. The show has blind spots. This could be down to the lack of diversity in the guests. At points Phil and guests sympathise more with landlords than struggling tenants, and families blocked from the property ladder by landlords. Few guests, if any, seem to be tenants.
