  • Great podcast and the presenters compliment each other

I really enjoy these podcasts. The presenters are keep the listeners engaged with they way they

and the general dynamics between them. The topics discussed are current and interesting, I do feel it can be sometimes come across as optically biased, however, it is still a good listen during my commutee.

  • The new thumbnail looks like they're surrounded by burgers..

It's decent, can feel soapboxy and out of touch, but it's a Telegraph podcast so that's a given. Would like to hear more disagreements to mix things up as it feels like they always just agree on things

  • Salary sacrifice

I agree that there shouldn’t be a race to the bottom re public sector pensions and private pensions however public sector pensions as I understand them are not salary sacrifice and therefore both individual and the employers NI payments are made. I put in 15% of my salary into my dc pension and the company I worked for 16%. You can’t expect 50th career average salary per year worked with a minimum of total contributions such as 9%. Companies need to put in more if you want equity with public ... more
