  • Love ❤️

So glad you continued to create podcasts. I love the mixture of guests! My fiancé is bored of me saying… “Georgie says…” whenever we discuss our wedding plans🤣

  • Starts out strong

Love the initial interviews which are educational and useful but much like the unfiltered bride podcast Georgie is again reverting to “just wanting a chat”. I understand Brian is her husband so he must be interesting for her…but why would I care what he’s been doing and if he’s stopped drinking? They barely spoke about dresses at all. This last episode just felt aimless.

  • Fabulously lovely

2027 bride for whom this has become a favourite podcast; I sit down with a coffee every week to hear Georgie imparting lovely, helpful advice and annecdotes; it’s taking the stress out of planning our wedding and it’s like having a big sister helping you through the process. Already know I’ll be listening long after my own day. x

  • Dress Ep

Love this podcast guys, I genuinely look forward to listening each week! My ONLY piece of feedback (which I really hope comes across as constructive rather than negative) is the last Ep about the wedding dress industry went on so many tangents😂 I only say this because I was looking forward to the topic (as a 2027 bride in the process of finding a dress) and was hoping for more advice / tips around dresses etc! Again, I really enjoy this podcast and all your amazing guests - genuinely only sayin... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

18: How to DIY Your Wedding
Q: How did you handle the decision to DIY your veil, and what was the cost vs. a shop-made veil?
We ended up creating the veil with help from family, using affordable materials, which totaled around 70 pounds, compared to about 3,000 pounds for a custom-made veil from a shop.
18: How to DIY Your Wedding
Q: At what point did you realize you wanted to do DIY stuff for the wedding?
We decided right away that DIY would be part of the plan, starting with flowers, because the budget was tight and we believed we could achieve a personal touch that reflected us.
16: The Awkward Prenup Conversation
Q: Are prenuptial agreements still useful if there is no significant wealth?
Yes, prenups can protect future earnings, royalties, or family assets, and are increasingly used by people who want to secure an orderly arrangement in the event of a breakup, even if wealth isn't extreme.
16: The Awkward Prenup Conversation
Q: What about postnups—are they valid?
Postnups are formed after marriage and are not automatically legally binding, but can be upheld if both parties sign with proper legal advice and full financial disclosure; they're common when circumstances change.
16: The Awkward Prenup Conversation
Q: How long before the wedding should you start?
Experts generally recommend starting communications and gathering disclosures three to six months before the wedding, with signing ideally around 28 days before, but never at the last minute if possible.
