Each week, your hosts Neil & Megan get into a true crime case or just a truly macabre story. We also throw in some strange and interesting tales of oddity. And remember, we like to take the cases seriously, but not ourselves. New episodes every Wednesday!

Leaving my review like you told me to do after the Daniel Lee episode 🤣🤣 but truly this podcast is the perfect true crime podcast while also making you truly laugh the whole time. Their banter is so funny but they are still respectful of the families and covers the cases in an amazing way. Love when they talk about us Americans hahahah Thank you !!! Love y’all

I usually listen to true crime while half distracted at work. But you two suck me into complete distraction with your banter! Glad I found your Musings!
I do wish the episodes were longer and new episodes released more often though! 🖤

Listeners are drawn to a brisk true crime show that pairs meticulous case detail with bright, offbeat banter. Across episodes, topics span high-profile disappearances, notorious murders, and historical criminology, all delivered with humor, empathy for victims, and a curiosity about cultural context. The format often interleaves sharp commentary, host rapport, and tangential humor about tech, accents, and everyday life, which helps the show stand out in a crowded true crime space. Noteworthy is the balance between respectful treatment of serious topics and playful, self-aware wit, making it appealing to listeners who want substance without solemnity overload and who enjoy cultural flavor alongside the crime storytelling.
