A friend recommended this podcast to me when I was complaining about being caught up on all my main podcasts, and I have ended up being the biggest fan of this! The girls have such great personalities, and I like how they show them but still stay pretty focused on the topic.
I also love the episode choices, i love true crime but also enjoy other interesting topics like heists, scams, etc. and they mix in a lot of things like that. I can’t wait to join the Patreon!
I was introduced to this podcast through one of the yearly events The Trail Went Cold participates in, where several pods do mini eps together, perhaps three years ago. TCC has more compassion and comedy than some of the most money-making famous true crime podcasts out there. Dare I say, let’s give these gals the seats in the throne they deserve. Brilliant; love them both.
What makes this podcast enjoyable is the dynamic between the two hosts; they effortlessly balance each-other. It’s funny and clever and intriguing. But when Mogab is absent, it’s utter hell to listen to. The balance is way way off and Destiny (the Mogab sub at times) is performative, often interrupting and giving off “pick me” vibes.
I’ve been listening to your podcasts for years and continue to tell my friends about it! Def respect you Kristin & how much you care about the true crime stories you are telling. Forget about the haters, you’re doing awesome and don’t ever change
This podcast has a really great balance of respecting the stories they’re telling, while adding in some lighthearted humor to make it more digestible. I am a full on true crime podcast junkie, and finding this podcast has been so much fun, they cover a lot of crazy stories I have never heard anywhere else. Keep it up ladies!!
