Allison researches true crime's most overlooked cases. Mike hears them for the first time: raw reactions, real questions, no script. Plus the kind of married banter that makes an hour of dark content feel like hanging out with friends over coffee. New episodes every Sunday.

I found this podcast after I ran out of episodes from another true crime podcast and Mike and Allison are now my most listened to podcast. I love the banter and often LOL. I appreciate all the hard work Allison puts into her research…that’s a heavy lift when also working full time! And I agree with Mike, that it is ok when she gets emotional. These are difficult stories to tell and I would be bawling through it all. Keep up the awesome work! ❤️
I have only recently found this podcast but it’s already my favourite. I don’t usually like “banter” but honestly could listen to Allison and Mike all day.
Allison’s research is so in depth and her story telling is compassionate. Mike asks all the right questions and says what I’m sure a lot of us are thinking!
The perfect podcast!
I’ve been listening to the episode about LaVena Johnson. The mystery surrounding her death is terrible and her family has clearly been through hell. It’s incredibly sad and hugely tragic.
However, the way the two of you speak about the military so flippantly (eg they smoke because “they don’t have anything else to do”) is shocking. With most true crime podcasts I’ll skip the conversations before the case starts, but with this one I always listen! Allison and Mike have two of the best (and funniest) personalities and I love just listening to them talk! I’m a weekly listener and subscriber. They’re just the best. This has easily become one of my favorite podcasts! Hope they continue many more years :)
