Someone close to me introduced me to this pod and I enjoy listening to it. It’s a pod that’s easily understood. It gets to explore deeper with surface level knowledge.
I’ve never really been into podcasts (I never really thought of myself as an auditory learner) but thought I’d give this one a try. I haven’t listened to all the episodes yet, but I am impressed by the variety of guests and topics that are featured. I like how there are practitioners in the community of Hawai’i as well as creative individuals such as scholars and writers in the continent. It’s interesting to listen to, both as a consumer of therapy services and a student.
I’ve listened to a number of Mind Tricks Radio episodes and have to say that I enjoyed every one of them. The guests and Dr. Kaplan speak in terms that anyone can understand and cover topics that I think most of us can relate to. Also, Dr. Kaplan is a great interviewer - he asks smart questions and it feels like you’re simply listening into a casual conversation between two people who really know their stuff. Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed the recent interview with Dr. Zucker. Her information about panic attacks was highly useful and compelling.
Excellent podcast. Easy and engaging, Dr. Kaplan interviews a variety of professionals in mind-related fields and shares with us such that we come away with new ways of thinking about ourselves, others, and the world around us. Highly recommended!
