Having also grown up around Hanson MA Maura’s story already felt close to home so the message of empathy for true crime victims really resonated with me. Listening to everyone’s perspectives on the search and the lasting impact of her disappearance was heartbreaking and I truly appreciate everyone’s vulnerability in sharing. My heart goes out to Maura and family
Such a compelling story but the sister’s voice is so monotone and sounds so unemotional. Also the ad placement is horrible. It just suddenly appears and it is jarring.
I love this podcast and my heart goes out to all involved. I also have a strong theory! Between the time the police were called and when the first policeman showed up around 7:30 the neighbor’s eyes were on the woman at the whole time next, she says the woman had a cigarette and was standing out by her car. I believe that it was not Mara and that it was the first policeman who showed up and then kidnapped her.
This is a must listen to, if you want to get the truth and cut through all the years of speculation and hearsay. Extremely interesting and informative. Just hearing everyone's voice, especially the family members, made the story more real and heartbreaking.

And when the ads are over, we’re dumped right back to resume the word or sentence where we left off—it’s obnoxious! It’s a terrible trend in podcasts: reeks of greed, monetization-at-all-costs, and a lack of any respect to ... more
