Bought this book for my son and he loved it.
Over the previous couple of years, our leadership team had the luxury of training with Dr. Widman and his company, Performance Mountain. Our training sessions focused on developing an elite mindset in the workplace and at home. We then purchased Max Out Mindset for the team as a reinforcement of our training and as a quick reference to the 15 Powers that help us reach our maximum performance each day. As a coach, this is a great read regarding the power of the mind, positive coaching and getting the best out of our athletes in life. Widman's stories about people and teams he has worked with make the book an enjoyable read, in addition to the great nuggets we can take back to our gym. As great as he is in his work, he is a b... more

Doubters will say it doesn't work because they haven't bought in, but if you take the time and patience and really listen to what Widman h... more
