  • VBA2C Journey

I am in the very early stages of my vbac journey and I have been looking at so many birth stories and podcasts and I appreciate Katherine’s the most. It feels like there are two categories of podcasts for someone like me who has had multiple csections. Either very “embrace the C-section” or “csections are evil and all you need is a doula and a birth tub in your own home with crystals” I really struggled because both mindsets feel off to me. I appreciate Made for Birth because it focuses on findi... more

I recently had successful VBAC and the made to birth podcast was part of my journey. As I was researching on podcast to listen I started to listen to Katherine stories. They were so impactful, the way she fought for her VBAC and later on all the information she gives through out the podcast is so helpful. I learned information I wasn’t aware of and I put in practice her tips before and when I was in labor. I recommend you listen to her podcast and it could be a game changer like it was for me af... more

112- The Long-Term Effects of Pregnancy and Birth with Emily Roper

Key steps include prioritizing the parent's mental health and trauma processing, enabling safe opportunities for movement and sensory input for the baby, and using therapies or approaches that address the brain and body development from the bottom up for lasting benefits.
112- The Long-Term Effects of Pregnancy and Birth with Emily Roper
Q: So Emily, at what point did you start noticing the connection between pregnancy, birth, and long-term neurological development?
Her experience shows this connection began during education and internships, where she observed how birth practices and early infancy experiences influence later brain and body development, leading to her focus on the prenatal to early postnatal period as foundational.
113- Chiropractic Care, VBAC, and the Whole-Body Approach to Birth with Dr. Alayna Clark
Q: What should a mom expect in a care plan and why is continuing care important?
Care plans evolve with pregnancy; early and regular adjustments support pelvic mobility, nervous system tone, and alignments as the body and baby move, rather than waiting for big pain to appear.

87- Why Movement Matters in Pregnancy + Birth with Kate Hopkins
Q: What is your biggest tip on being aligned and learning how your body moves that can help them know how to support their bodies through labor?
