I want to love this podcast so much. But how can you call yourselves evidence based when you are denying basic biology through the anti-woman language you choose to use? I am not an inseminated person. I am not a birthing person. I am not a chest feeder. I am a woman. It’s dehumanizing and anti-science. Please listen to the reviews of real women saying the same thing I am. We are tired of being erased.
I was honestly shocked when I saw the overall rating was 4.3….this a 5 star podcast! What was even more shocking was the reason why. Come on people, getting triggered by inclusive language?? You know what is actually hard? Being a nonbinary/trans person giving birth and constantly having to validate your identity. It must be oh so hard for cis women being surrounded by other cis women doing what cis women have done for thousands of years. I honestly didn’t even notice that this language was used... more
The guest said "Why can't we just support the physiological normal conclusion?" This pod also claims to be evidence-based. How about we extend our synaptic function a teensy bit to be able to call a woman a woman, to understand your sex without need for pronoun introductions, and for goodness’ sake, if I hear myself referenced to again as an “LatinX person,” I’m going to burst. I am a Latina. I am a woman. Stop amalgamating and androgenizing the one thing that women are distinctly created to do.... more
Love EBB they have great evidence based information that’s gender inclusive.
I am unsure why people are distracted by the word birthing person, but it’s for those who might be nonbinary person or trans man choosing to birth. You don’t have to agree with how people live their lives. But everyone deserves to feel seen. As a woman I am also a person. Than you EBB for being inclusive
This podcast has good information, but please stop saying “birthing people”… we’re called “women”. The irony of it too is talking about a “birthing person” on an episode about vaginal births instead of c-sections when the people with vaginas, to have a “vaginal birth”, are in fact biological women.
