Some episode are super entertaining and my favorites and tackle amazing topics I’m glad I know about and glad others know about now.

Other times … I listen for five minutes and turn it off because it feels very alternative - which is fine - without any disclaimers or information otherwise. It just doesn’t sit right when I listen to things and hope people don’t take it as gospel.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Life lately: Gut and Mental Health Magic with Dr Verena
Q: Can you explain why you emphasize methylated vitamins and NAD therapies?
Activated vitamins and NAD precursors are important because many people have methylation mutations that impede conversion to active forms, affecting energy, mood, and detox pathways; using activated forms can bypass these bottlenecks and support deeper healing.
Life lately: Gut and Mental Health Magic with Dr Verena
Q: How do you approach treatment—do you focus on gut first or mind first?
I work on both simultaneously, because the gut and nervous system interact with mental-emotional factors; testing guides targeted interventions for both physiological and psychological aspects.
Life lately: Gut and Mental Health Magic with Dr Verena
Q: What is the most common reason people come to you for help?
Most people come for gut health concerns, which are often tied to sleep, anxiety, hormones, and overall energy levels, with gut health acting as a central gateway to many other issues.
Life Lately: We Answer EVERYTHING
Q: Would you ever get any more piercings or tattoos?
They both express openness to tattoos, with plans for a red Kendrick lyric tattoo, and generally acknowledge some piercings may be unlikely due to healing issues, but tattoos are more likely in the future.
Q & A with Dena's Lover Boy - THE Dr. Alex
Q: When did you know Dena was the one?
During that time we were at long distance, just talking every single day with long, beautiful, deep discussions.
