  • Rubbish

I feel sorry for any female who thinks learning from and listening to these two females is a good idea. Whilst Alicia does hold the space well, asks meaningful and insightful questions, Dena đŸ«€

It think it’s sad that Alicia feels the need to be self deprecating towards herself to make Dena feel better about herself. There are many other higher quality podcasts out there worth your time.

Some episode are super entertaining and my favorites and tackle amazing topics I’m glad I know about and glad others know about now.

    Other times
I listen for five minutes and turn it off because it feels very alternative - which is fine - without any disclaimers or information otherwise. It just doesn’t sit right when I listen to things and hope people don’t take it as gospel.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Losing His Daughter, His Childhood And Nearly His Life | Harrison James
Q: When did advocacy start for you and what did it begin with?
Advocacy began after I witnessed the impact of Grace Tame's 2021 Australia of the Year moment; I pursued focused, practical paths like starting a campaign to change legislation, then expanding to a broader platform including a book and public speaking.
Losing His Daughter, His Childhood And Nearly His Life | Harrison James
Q: Tell me a little bit about your story, who you are, how you became an activist.
I'm a survivor who turned lived experience into public advocacy, using my story to push for systemic changes, such as removing good character references for convicted offenders, and to help others heal through practical resources like campaigns and a forthcoming book.
We Finally Got Dance Academy Producer Joanna Werner To Tell Us What Really Went On Behind The Scenes
Q: What was the reasoning behind Sammy's death and how did you approach it to balance the show for a young audience?
The team aimed to take a bold storytelling risk that would feel truthful and impactful, ensuring the moment served the characters' arcs and left a lasting impression on viewers without undermining the series' heart.
Life lately: Gut and Mental Health Magic with Dr Verena
Q: Can you explain why you emphasize methylated vitamins and NAD therapies?
Activated vitamins and NAD precursors are important because many people have methylation mutations that impede conversion to active forms, affecting energy, mood, and detox pathways; using activated forms can bypass these bottlenecks and support deeper healing.
Life lately: Gut and Mental Health Magic with Dr Verena
Q: How do you approach treatment—do you focus on gut first or mind first?
I work on both simultaneously, because the gut and nervous system interact with mental-emotional factors; testing guides targeted interventions for both physiological and psychological aspects.
