The best of young biblical scholarship brought to the table in an accessible way. McKnight is letting the youth have a say! You may not agree with every conclusion but you’ll be up to date with biblical research. A great podcast for those who want a multifaceted view of scripture.
I love much of what is on the podcast. Scot’s love of Christian history and his passion to expose church abuse is an attractive combination. I would like to suggest changing the choice of transitional music. In my opinion it does not match Scot’s personality nor the non-slick conversations on the podcast.
Is Cody a girl? He speaks just like a 13-year-old girl from Southern California. Through his nose, 100% nasal, emphasizing the last syllable of any word. He is impossible to listen to. Cody, grow a pair.
Over the books and podcasts much of what I grew up with in a fundamental church has been deconstructed and caused reconstruction in my faith. I recommend this podcast to multiple people because they are often like me and need boundaries broken.
An Albertan and an American spend 30 minutes ignoring what Jesus says in the Bible and argue that the message of Jesus is “Do not pay your taxes.” They argue not for a transformed kingdom or rebirth, but invite Christians to open insurrection.
