    bibble bad i atheist

also i support abortion cus i'm a evil satan spawn to you guys

no but seriously, abortion is a way to save the mother. the child has not been born and will probably also die if not aborted. you guys are willing to kill a human being that has lived and is aware that they will die, js to save the life of an unborn fetus? i don't think your "god" will like that.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Can you clarify substitutional atonement, Tom? Which OT should Christians use? Northern tribes question
Q: What is the relationship between Old Testament sacrifices and substitutionary atonement?
S Wright argues that sacrifices function within a broader theological framework (tabernacle/temple, God dwelling with his people) rather than simply as penal substitutes; the New Testament reframes the purpose of sacrifices in light of Christ's work.
Can you clarify substitutional atonement, Tom? Which OT should Christians use? Northern tribes question
Q: Does 2 Corinthians 5:21 support penal substitution, or is the emphasis more on exchange and reconciliation?
The verse is about God making the one who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, but in Wright's view it serves Paul's larger aim of defending his apostolic ministry and the ministry of reconciliation.
Can you clarify substitutional atonement, Tom? Which OT should Christians use? Northern tribes question
Q: If substitution is present in Levitical systems, is it penal substitution present and definitive? Should it be read into 2 Corinthians 5:21?
Penal substitution exists in a biblical sense, but Wright argues it should be understood within the broader narrative of God dwelling with humanity and the church's mission, not as a simplistic substitutionary punishment theory.
Does God repent? What does ekklesia mean? Talking about biblical words and what they mean?
Q: Does God change his mind?
The discussion explains that the texts show a paradox: God is not a man who changes, yet there are passages where God relents or regrets in a way that reflects anthropomorphic language and the fallen, contingent nature of creation, suggesting a tension between immutability and God's responsive relationship with humanity.
Who are Abraham's children? Did Jesus make mistakes? Is apostolic succession essential to the Church's faithfulness?
Q: Is apostolic succession essential to the church's faithfulness, or is it just one historically conditioned way of ordering church life?
Apostolic succession is not portrayed as an automatic guarantee of fidelity; rather, continuity comes from a combination of the apostolic gospel, the Spirit's work through the laying on of hands, and a teaching tradition that preserves the core message across generations, while allowing for flexible forms of unity.
