Welcome to King of the Ride podcast, hosted by Ted King. A professional road cyclist turned gravel racer... err, rider? I still have that competitive bug now 20 years into my professional racing career, but poking around the overarching cycling community is what piques my interest. Slinging maple syrup (hello UnTapped!), leading rides, hosting camps, and just enjoying life on two wheels, I have th... more

Thoughtful questions and a great variety of guests make this podcast an easy listen. I really enjoy the format; laidback, insightful, and sprinkled with that quirky, dry sense of humor. He pulls from his experience in the European pro peloton and his current involvement in gravel racing to give conversations real depth. Always a great listen.
Thanks, Ted, for inspiring so many. You are thought provoking, funny, and just an overall good human. Let’s go ride a bike!
It’s always fun hearing Ted’s take one events and rides he does. Not the typical paid participation synopsis of many riders who have nothing but praises for all events endorsing them. Life isn’t always perfect and Ted doesn’t flinch telling you how it is when needed. All of this spackled together with a healthy dose of untapped goodness.
Insightful conversation, fun guests, quick witted, and all around a great podcast. Really enjoyed the Bond Almand episode.
What an interview! Her story is as unbelievable as is her speed to the top of the sport - all with a big dose of humility and an ability to laugh about the craziness of it all. Worth two listens.
