  • Oregon Trail Series was Awesome

Appreciate the extra effort to release a daily Pod of the Oregon Trail Stage Race with Sarah Sturm! I always enjoy the back and forth between the two of you, and getting a daily update of the race was a special treat!!

  • HOT TAKE: MORE Sarah, not LESS

Who are these insane people that don’t like Sarah on the pod?? The tangents make the show so fun - fry sauce condoms, skunked Dylan, Evel Kenevel campgrounds! Bikes and gravel are supposed to be fun like this, and if you want a bunch of self-serious bros prattling on about marginal gains for 90 mins, go listen to that instead.

  • Needs tightening

It’s somewhat interesting but it’s too slack - it’s all in-the-know chat and disorganised, and doesn’t follow though on the promise of the guests - the Skyler one for example. There’s too little Skyler and there’s so much story there. Ease off on the Payson too. Too much host. Too little guests. Sort that out and it could be great.

  • Brilliant Listen

Been listening to this Pod for a couple of years. Every episode is a weekly pleasure. Payson gets so much out of each guest, without it feeling like an interview, really natural as a host.
