  • This show is so cozy for me

I always feel at home with voice actors, JLU made me the DC fan that I am today, being able to revisit the show with the voice of Wonder Woman herself is a treat, anytime a new episode appears I’m filled with joy and can’t wait to listen, I’m very grateful for this show existing, thank you guys.

P.S. Susan don’t ever stop promoting more Wonder Woman content, she deserves her own show!😁

  • Justice Is Only for Some

“Justice League Revisited” has rewritten “Truth, Justice, & the American Way” as “Truth, Justice, & the Democratic Party;” neither independents nor conservatives are welcome.

What a wasted opportunity to welcome all fans to revisit this classic show.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Jeff Johnson, animator & storyboard artist - Justice League Revisited
Q: What was your audition like and who did you have to impress for the job?
He describes knowing Dave Johnson, a producer friend, and recognizing a job opening through nepotism-like connections; his audition involved drawing backgrounds for a Hawkman tombs episode and demonstrating his ability to deliver usable background art.
Jeff Johnson, animator & storyboard artist - Justice League Revisited
Q: Okay, so first, what was your job on the Justice League?
Jeff Johnson explains he was a background designer on Justice League Unlimited, responsible for creating environments and sometimes contributing to storyboard revisions, and he later wore multiple hats on related projects.
"Task Force X" with writer Stan Berkowitz - Justice League Revisited
Q: What was the inspiration behind creating Task Force X as a story for Task Force X in Justice League Unlimited?
The idea was to mix action, heist, moral ambiguity, and suspense while establishing that the Justice League is now in conflict with the government; the mission served as a setup for the broader Cadmus arc and future episodes.
"Doomsday Sanction" with George Newbern and Dan Riba - Justice League Revisited
Q: Who do you think is the harder fight for Superman, Doomsday or Darkseid?
Doomsday is tougher in this battle due to his size and the fearsome voice, but the real challenge is Batman and Doomsday's impact on Superman's state; Doomsday edges out because of his raw power and the emotional stakes involved whenever Superman is pushed to the limit.
"The Ties That Bind" with writer J.M. DeMatteis - Justice League Revisited
Q: Was Flash chosen as the Pacific League member for this episode from the outset or was there a season mandate?
The characters and their roles were already set by the team; it wasn't JM DeMatteis's decision, but part of the broader package the show had planned.
