Jonesing for a podcast where a few people talk about some of my favorite animated Batman movies, I was thrilled to discover The DCAU Review on the last day of 2023. The Long Halloween Part 1 and 2, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, and Mask of the Phantasm are all covered along with many more movies and series. There’s a great blend of opinions, history, and audio clips. Great job, Cal and Liam.
Cal and Liam’s Batman podcast is a gem for fans of the Dark Knight. Their deep knowledge and palpable chemistry make each episode a delight. They offer fresh takes on the animated series, making it a must-listen for both new and long-time Batman enthusiasts. Engaging, insightful, and fun - this podcast is a five-star Bat-experience!
While I don’t agree with all Cal and Liam’s ratings in each category from time to time, each episode shows how much the DCAU has influenced each listener’s lives wherever they grew up. Their podcast supports the importance of how the DCAU has impacted in the comic book world. Great guests, great conversations and insights. more

The humor can make you burst out laughing in the worst places and the running gags keep you coming back!!! Their dives into the episodes are also great and made me think some episodes in ways I never had and made me appreciate some episodes I didn’t care for before I listened ... more
