Reviews

4.1 out of 5 stars from 203 ratings
  • Tobacco chewing yocal

Every show starts with 10-15 minutes of mindless drivel that is completely unrelated to the show topic at hand. The host sounds like a yocal chewing tobacco and he and his chums are constantly berating the listeners for any personal views that don’t conform to their personal beliefs.

  • Good Batman Podcast

Has Peter Vera ever completed a sentence without laughing? I need subtitles when he starts talking through his laugh, which he does every time he speaks.

  • Great Batman Show!

This is such a good Batman podcast! It definitely focused on the movies (obviously from the name) but there is good stuff from the comics and cartoons and games. The host does a great job setting up the conversations and the guests are all fun and knowledgeable guys. I love the trivia game!

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

BATMAN BEGINS Ch. 6: "Does it Come in Black?"
Q: How do you feel about the Tumblr as a batmobile and where does it rank as one of the live action theatrical batmobiles for you?
It's hard for me because the 66 Batmobile is so iconic. It's hard not to make that number one, but then you got the Burton Batmobile that's right there.
BATMAN BEGINS Ch. 6: "Does it Come in Black?"
Q: Do you think it would actually work if they ordered 100,000 weirdly shaped bat ear pieces?
When you're a billionaire, you can do things like us peasants can't do.
BATMAN BEGINS Ch. 6: "Does it Come in Black?"
Q: How did you like seeing the year one influence on this Gotham? Had you read year one before you saw the movie?
Knowing the integrity that Gordon operates under, like the disgust that he has in his face watching his partner get the mob money.
BATMAN BEGINS Ch. 6: "Does it Come in Black?"
Q: How do you feel about Nolan making Fox into Batman's cube basically?
Some people were like, well, it takes away from Bruce making all this stuff. But like, why wouldn't he have all these assets that just laying around?
BATMAN BEGINS Ch. 6: "Does it Come in Black?"
Q: How do you like this initial glimpse of the public Bruce Wayne persona?
It's like, okay, there's Bruce Wayne. There's the Bruce Wayne I know, right? Somewhat womanizing, charming. I mean, he oozes cool.
