I grew up obsessed with the animated series, movies, and Arkham video games. I needed something to do during the ✨pandemy✨and picked up year one after I stumbled upon this podcast. This pod is partially to blame for the absurd amount of money I have spent on floppys and trades after nearly 25 years of not having a comic collecting hobby. This pod is seriously that good. Great to revisit the best Batman Graphic novels and stories so far and Ryan gets great guests.
This podcast got me into actually reading comics after being a huge Batman animated series and movie fan. Have followed along and read every book covered after having barely read anything before. Highly recommend.
Im a huge superhero fan but had really only watched movies and shows, this podcast got me to read my first comic, Ryan’s favorite: The Long Halloween, and I fell right in love. I’ve listened to every single episode and listen to each new one that comes out. I can’t recommend this show enough, Ryan Lower does an amazing job and all his guest stars are wonderful.
This show is great for anyone wanting to do a deep dive on all things-Batman comics. I read a few books I never would have known about without listening to the show.
