High production value and variety of themed stories. Favorite horror podcast for short fiction stories. Suddenly shocking for micro-fiction. Sleepless decompositions scratches the itch for gore and body horror.
Used to be the best - now every other story has a queer protagonist or homo storyline. Frequently skip those episodes, which is like one a week. How about horror stories staring normal people and not weirdo pedos.
I only happened to find this podcast recently via a Prime series ‘Twisted Tales’. The quality and variety of the stories are absolutely fantastic. I listen everyday while working or doing chores. I’ve already listened to all episodes from 2025 so I’m now listening to previous years. This really is the best podcast I’ve come across. David C, you are a great host and I really like it when you narrate too. Keep the stories coming please.
It’s a shame this podcast has gone woke. Ho hum. Time to unsubscribe.
The gold standard of horror fiction podcasts. This is my favorite podcast.
Wanted to update this November 2025 to thank the NSP for their high standard of audio horror fiction and horror podcasts. This Halloween Hiatus episode sounds like so much work—just putting together prerecorded stories is a break!! Better than so much out there. I’ve been listening to y’all for 12 yrs
